About Facilitator

Fazal Hussain Gaffoor FCA, FCCA, CISA, CIA, CRISC

Senior Chartered Accountant with Over 32 Years of Experience

Mr. Hussain possesses over 32 years of post-qualification experience in senior management positions across Pakistan and the Middle East. His career began in 1992 as a Manager of Taxation at A F Ferguson & Co., a member firm of PwC.

He has held leadership roles in various reputable local and international companies, including:

  • KASB Securities - Head of Finance

  • JP Morgan Chase - Country Senior Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer

  • iHilal Financial Services, UAE - Group Financial Controller

  • Central Depository Company - Head of Audit (initially) and CFO & Company Secretary (later)

  • Pakistan Petroleum Limited - General Manager Internal Audit and Head of Corporate Planning and BD

Mr. Hussain brings extensive experience in IT security, business continuity, process automation, and data analysis. He has also conducted investigations for SECP and companies he has worked with.

Beyond his core accounting qualifications (FCA, FCCA), Mr. Hussain holds certifications in internal audit (CISA), fraud examination (CIA, CRISC), and is a Certified Director. He is a member of the Association for Certified Fraud Examiners and a seasoned trainer/workshop conductor. His expertise spans auditing, risk management, compliance, corporate governance, fraud detection and prevention, and forensic accounting and auditing. He has delivered training both in Pakistan and abroad and has served on various committees for ICAP, IIA, and ISACA.
